In the Western Balkans (WB), labor mobility faces many challenges that limit the efficient movement of workers within the region. These challenges arise from various factors that include administrative, educational, and demographic aspects. The situation is mirrored when labor mobility between Serbia and other countries of the Western Balkans is observed.
The general goal of the project is to contribute to the improvement of labor mobility between Serbia and other countries of the Western Balkans, which contributes to the goals of joint regional development and the process of joining the common market of the European Union.
The project will duration 11 months and will have 7 activities – managing the project team and creating a project management plan, promoting the project, creating an analysis of labor mobility between Serbia and the countries of the Western Balkans, organizing round tables, preparing and advocating proposals for economic policy, conducting a media campaign, final conference.
Improving labor mobility in the Western Balkan region has the potential to transform the regional labor market, supporting sustainable economic development and strengthening ties between WB countries.
