Regenerative Agriculture Alliance of Serbia presented its goals, activities, and plans for the upcoming period at the event held on March 12 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad. The goals and activities were presented through five working groups led by the organizations, that is, the founders of the Alliance, in accordance with their expertise.
The Institute for Development and Innovation presented the objectives and activities of working group number five, entitled “Financial Support Mechanisms and Social Incentives”, which aims to encourage greater adoption of regenerative agricultural practices by improving financial support mechanisms and the social environment.
Two panel discussions were held at the event, where members of the Alliance and other relevant actors from the economic and public sector discussed challenges in applying regenerative agriculture, certain financial incentives, but also some social challenges and barriers.
The Institute for Development and Innovation launched the Alliance, together with the Association of Balkan Eco-Innovations, the GILAB company, and the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad, with the support of the pioneers of regenerative agriculture in Serbia, with the aim of facing the challenges of ecological sustainability and financial stability in the agricultural sector.
