The team of the Institute for Development and Innovation, together with project partners from the Development – Guarantee Fund of Brčko District of BiH and the City of Loznica, visited the good practices of business incubators in the region. The study visit was realized from September 11 to 14, 2023 within the NESESER project. The study trip was organized by partners from the Development and Guarantee Fund of the Brčko District of BiH and included a visit to 5 business incubators from the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
The goal of the study visit was to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for establishing business incubators, as well as to discover the model of how successful business incubators function in the region. The acquired knowledge will be used by the project team during the establishment of two business incubators – in Brčko District of BiH and the City of Loznica. The incubators Intera Technology Park in Mostar, ICBL – Innovation Center Banja Luka, Business Incubator BIOS d.o.o. in Osijek, Business Incubator Vinkovci and Business Incubator Novi Sad were visited.
Together with project partners, we support entrepreneurs through the establishment of business incubators, all in order to encourage the cross-border economic potential for self-employment of young people and the establishment of companies led by women.
