The seventh meeting of the project board of the “upPE-T” project (Upcycling of PE and PET waste – upPE-T) was held on November 15 and 16, 2023 at BOKU University in Vienna. The project partners met to discuss the achieved results, the activities they are currently implementing within the project and future plans. Each of the partners presented their results so far.
They also discussed about challenges during the implementation of activities and ways to overcome them. After the project board meeting, partners held individual meetings within each work package to discuss current and future activities in more detail.
The team of the Institute for Development and Innovation consisted of Nina Macarević – project manager of the “upPE-T” project, Siniša Borota – program manager and Nenad Jevtović – director of the Institute. Nina Macarević presented the Institute’s results so far on the “upPE-T” project, as well as current activities that are being worked on and plans for the last year of project implementation. Also, the presentation of the results to a wider audience and the completion of activities in the last year of implementation were discussed with the project partners.
After the two-day project meeting, the partners attended a joint activity with the “ecoplus Kunststoff-Cluster” which is an cross-industry network for the plastics sector and a hub connecting member companies, research institutes and decision makers in Austria.
