Institute for Development and Innovation team met with partners Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria (UNCU) from Perugia in order to discuss further steps within common working packages on Horizon upPE-T project. The visit took a place on September 27th in Perugia and the IDI’s team, consisting of Nenad Jevtović, Marija Suzić, Ana Milenković and Marina Anđelković, presented IDI’s current work on the upPE-T project and further plans considering the EU Horizon projects development.
We discussed the further development of the platform for the Massive Open Online Course and the learning materials we had prepared. Further, the topics that will be presented and discussed in the Workshop that will take a place on October 20 were discussed. The main topic of the Workshop is the analysis of the consumers’ behavior in the recycling industry.
The MOOC platform aims to educate young people from different European countries about the circular economy, environmental sustainability, microplastics, bioplastics, biodegradable plastics, and the role of gender in environmental protection. The social elements of environmental sustainability and circular economy will be discussed with the field experts in the workshop we are preparing, too.
