PROGRAMS CONDUCTED BY THE INSTITUTE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION
Youth, Migrations and Depopulation
The main focus of the Youth, Migrations and Depopulation Program is the analysis of the economic effects youth migrations have on Serbia and the region. The program Youth, Migrations and Depopulation aims to observe all positive and negative effects of the migrations phenomenon, as well as how to create and implement policy recommendations in how to deal with migrations.
The catalyst of this program was project Cost of Youth Emigration through which the Institute developed a methodology for the cost of youth emigration analysis in Serbia and regional countries. Based on this unique methodology all effects of youth migrations in Serbia and the region were perceived, based on which further economic policy papers were developed.
