The team of the Institute for Development and Innovation, together with project partners from the Development Guarantee Fund of the Brčko District of BiH and the City of Loznica, attended capacity-building workshops for public administration representatives in the field of entrepreneurship. The workshops were held from September 25 to 29, 2023, within the NESSESER project. They were organized by consultant Marija Suzić, while the Institute for Development and Innovation provided all necessary technical and logistical support.

The aim of the workshops was to help representatives of public administration from Loznica and the Brčko District gain knowledge in entrepreneurship, “pre-incubation,” and “business incubation,” so that the acquired knowledge could be used in the establishment and development of two business incubators – in the Brčko District of BiH and the City of Loznica. The five-day workshops included sessions on entrepreneurship such as “Maybe entrepreneurs,” “Early start entrepreneurs,” “Wanna-be entrepreneurs,” “Up-start entrepreneurs,” and “Re-start entrepreneurs,” guest lectures by successful entrepreneurs, as well as a presentation of a successful Business Incubator from Osijek.

As part of the program, a presentation of the “Feasibility Study” and the “Business Plan” for the Business and Entrepreneurship Incubator in Loznica was also organized by the consulting company Milestone Solution.
