The Institute for development and innovation has started implementing project First steps towards digital Čačak. The main goal of the project is to support the modernization and digitalization of the Serbian Government and its E-Government portal (Serbian: E-Uprava) through organized workshops, creating guidelines, and proposing changes within the portal.
Within the project citizens of Čačak will have an opportunity to participate in the workshop where they will familiarize themselves with the E-Government portal.
The Institute will produce twelve educational videos on how to use E-Government services, as well as the guide that will be free to download. During the implementation, we will conduct research to indicate the potential downsides of the E-Government portal and its findings, as well as the proposals for the advancements, which will be presented to the decision-makers on the national and local levels.
The main tasks of the project are: 1) creating 12 educational videos that will be available on YouTube and free to download guide on how to use E-Government services; 2) workshop for the citizens of Čačak; 3) conducting the research and policy paper for the advancements of E-Government.
The project First steps towards digital Čačak is financed by European Union as part of the Increasing Civic Engagement in the Digital Agenda (ICEDA) project.
